Working principle of hydraulic system of Metso HP500 cone crusher

The main function of HP500 crusher hydraulic system is to provide pressure for locking cylinder, releasing cylinder and adjusting the outlet of crusher. The locking pressure is controlled by PS1-A pressure switch. The pressure range is 185 ~ 190bar. The release pressure is controlled by the PS2-A pressure switch and the pressure range is 165 ~ 180bar. Adjust outlet pressure between 50 and 100 bar.

When the crusher works normally, the hydraulic system can only run in the “automatic” position, when the hydraulic pump starts. Stop by lock pressure switch PS1-A and release pressure switch PS2-A control. When the pressure is lower than the switch set, light the low pressure alarm lamp, and start the hydraulic pump at the same time. Pressure for lock cylinder and release cylinder. When pressure reaches switch setting, the pressure of lock cylinder and release cylinder is always within the set range, ensure the crusher safe operation.

The adjustment of the increase and decrease of the ore outlet of the crusher can be operated in the automatic position or in the manual position. When operating, press the button of “increase of the ore outlet” or “decrease of the discharge hole” on the hydraulic control box. Start the hydraulic pump and connect the solenoid valve SOL2 and SOL3 to release the lock pressure, leaving 15 bar residual pressure. Ensure that the crusher cone can be rotated freely and will not beat while the crusher is running. The solenoid valve SOL5 or SOL6 is connected to provide power for the hydraulic motor and drive the crusher mechanical adjustment device to rotate. Adjust the increase and decrease of the ore outlet of the crusher.

Crusher cavity clearance can only be operated in the manual position. When operating, press the “clear cavity” button on the hydraulic control box, start the hydraulic pump, and connect solenoid valve SOL4 and SOL8 at the same time. For the release of cylinder cleaning loop to provide the oil pressure raised cones, to clear the crushing chamber in the accumulation or iron parts.
