Manufacturing Process

From raw material to finished product, Fengwei controls every step of production in-house to ensure consistent quality.

Production Flow

1. Raw Material Selection

High-quality manganese steel and chrome alloy raw materials, sourced from certified suppliers. Chemical composition verified before use.

2. Melting

Medium frequency induction furnaces melt the raw material at 1450-1550°C. Spectrometer checks chemical composition in real-time.

3. Casting

Sand Mold Casting: Traditional sand mold process for large parts (up to 5 tons). Suitable for jaw plates, mill liners.

Lost Foam Casting: Precision lost foam process for complex geometries. Higher dimensional accuracy and smoother surface.

4. Heat Treatment

Water toughening treatment at 1050-1100°C improves wear resistance and toughness. Hardness reaches HRC 58-62 for high manganese steel.

5. Machining

CNC machining for critical dimensions: bolt holes, seating surfaces, threads. Tolerance ±0.5mm or per drawing.

6. Inspection

  • Chemical composition analysis (spectrometer)
  • Hardness testing (HRC)
  • Dimension inspection (CMM)
  • Visual and surface defect check

7. Packing

Wooden cases or pallets, suitable for sea transport. Marked with product name, material, quantity, and PO number.
